Changfen, or rice noodle rolls, are a staple in Guangdong province, enjoyed by locals as a breakfast item or light snack. Whether it's a bustling morning market or a quiet side street, you're bound to find vendors expertly rolling these delicate, translucent sheets of rice flour batter into soft, pillowy rolls filled with an array of delicious ingredients. In this post, I want to share some photos of different rice noodle rolls I’ve sampled recently, and talk about this Cantonese speciality in some depth.
