Nanfeng Ancient Kiln
南风古灶
I visited Nanfeng Ancient Kiln in Foshan today, and to my surprise, I had the place almost completely to myself. The usual crowds were nowhere to be seen, so I wandered through the quiet alleys, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The old brick kilns, still in use after more than 500 years, stood like reminders of the city’s long tradition of ceramics.
As I explored, I passed small workshops and pottery displays, where the skill and craftsmanship of local artisans were on full display. The heat was starting to build, but the shaded courtyards and the occasional breeze made it bearable. Without the usual hustle and bustle, it felt like I was stepping back in time, getting a rare, uninterrupted look at this historic site.
今天我参观了佛山的南风古灶，令我惊讶的是，整个地方几乎只有我一个人。平时的人群不见踪影，所以我在安静的小巷中漫步，享受这份宁静的氛围。那些仍然使用了500多年的古老砖窑，像是城市悠久陶瓷传统的象征，静静地伫立在那里。
在探索的过程中，我经过了一些小作坊和陶瓷展示，展现了当地工匠的高超技艺和手艺。天气渐渐变热，但阴凉的庭院和偶尔吹来的微风让人觉得还算舒适。没有了平日的喧嚣，我仿佛穿越时空，难得地享受到了这座历史遗址的宁静与古老魅力。
